This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong electrical estimating experience who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. Responsibilities: Understand project scope, program requirements, and design-build specifications Determine key variables for cost estimation, including labor, materials, and production timelines Gather first-hand information from job sites, vendors, and project stakeholders Conduct research to obtain data on labor costs, materials, and production rates Utilize estimating software (McCormick, EMB, Excel, etc.) for analysis, forecasting, and budgeting Obtain, review, and evaluate quotes from subcontractors and suppliers Perform risk analysis to identify cost uncertainties and project risks Prepare and submit detailed estimate reports and competitive bids Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and engineers Provide consultation on project planning, including scheduling and manpower requirements Required Experience: Proven experience as a Senior Estimator or similar role within electrical construction Minimum 3+ years of design-build estimating experience 5+ years of electrical estimating experience preferred Strong knowledge of cost analysis, estimation methods, and financial principles Proficiency with estimating software such as McCormick, EMB, and Microsoft Excel Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills Preferred Experience: Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) certification Experience supporting heavy commercial or large-scale electrical projects Strong vendor and subcontractor network within the electrical industry Benefits: Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Paid Time Off 401(K) 401(K) matching Salary: $120K-$130K+ annually Ask for: Brenna Job Id: 26262 Ajulia Executive Search is a New Jersey based Executive Search Firm specializing in retained searches in multiple sectors, including Manufacturing, Finance, IT, Legal, and Pharmaceutical.
