Job Overview – Investment Analyst (Capital Markets)

Compensation: $80,000 – $100,000/year + bonus

Location: Montgomery County, PA

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Atlantic Group is hiring an Investment Analyst (Capital Markets) in Montgomery County, PA for our client, supporting capital raising, investor relations, and transaction execution within a financial services environment. In this role, you will build financial models, conduct market and investor research, and support deal processes and strategic initiatives. You will utilize Excel and PowerPoint to develop analysis, presentations, and materials for investment and investor communication.

Responsibilities as the Investment Analyst (Capital Markets):

  • Financial Modeling: Build and maintain financial models, including valuation and discounted cash flow analyses.
  • Deal Execution: Prepare deal materials, summaries, and term sheets to support capital raising and transactions.
  • Investor Outreach: Support outreach to prospective and existing investors while assisting with relationship development.
  • Market Research: Conduct research on companies, investors, and market trends to support investment decisions.
  • Due Diligence: Assist with due diligence and analyze investment opportunities across transactions.

Qualifications for the Investment Analyst (Capital Markets):

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in investment banking, capital markets, or valuation.
  • Industry Knowledge: Possesses understanding of capital markets products, investment processes, and transaction workflows.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling techniques, including valuation analysis.
  • Skills & Attributes: Exhibits strong communication, analytical thinking, and a client-facing mindset with the ability to build relationships and travel as needed.
