Job Description
The Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey (JFEDSNJ) invites accomplished, strategic, and mission-driven financial leaders to apply for the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). As a key member of the executive leadership team, the CFO will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s financial future and strengthening its ability to serve a vibrant and evolving Jewish community.
This is a unique opportunity for a forward-thinking leader to bring both strategic vision and operational excellence to a highly respected nonprofit organization with a strong legacy of impact. The CFO will serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO, Board of Directors, and senior leadership, driving financial strategy, ensuring fiscal integrity, and positioning the organization for long-term sustainability and growth.
The ideal candidate is not only an experienced nonprofit financial executive, but also a collaborative leader who understands the importance of community, relationships, and values-based decision-making. A genuine appreciation for Jewish culture, traditions, and communal dynamics will be essential to success in this role.
