Working in this busy Emergency Department means you’ll collaborate with diverse healthcare professionals, gain exposure to multiple patient populations, and become adept with advanced clinical practices—including the use of specialty equipment like Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun. Caring for newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics, you will encounter a broad spectrum of medical situations, from cardiac arrest to trauma and respiratory failure, making this role ideal for resume expansion and professional growth.

Schedule:

• June 29th start date
• 2:30 p.m. – 3:00 a.m. (Evenings/Nights)

Qualifications:

• Active NY RN License (NURSYS Report required for all licenses)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience, including some pediatric care
• Previous travel nursing experience (documented in resume)
• Charge capability strongly preferred
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC certifications
• EPIC EMR proficiency
• Drivers license with matching address to application demographics
• Completed skills checklist for ED
• Ability to float to various units if needed
• Navy blue scrubs

Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert emergency care to diverse populations (newborn to geriatric)
• Respond efficiently to acute medical conditions: stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, and cardiac arrest
• Utilize advanced medical equipment and protocols
• Provide leadership if assigned charge responsibilities
• Contribute to a patient-centered, collaborative team environment
