Night shift nurses are needed in a Pediatric Emergency Department at a facility known for its dynamic patient mix and high standards in pediatric care. Take the next step in your career by learning from expert practitioners and working at a Level 1 or 2 Trauma Center using the latest approach with EPIC electronic health records. Schedule:

• Night shifts from 1900-0730
• Every other weekend required
• Some holidays required

Qualifications:

• Current New York State RN registration
• BLS certification (and eligible for recertification)
• At least two years of recent acute care experience in a facility of similar size and level
• Majority of experience must be devoted to Peds ED; adult ED experience is a plus
• Recent experience in Level 1 or 2 trauma centers and formal triage training preferred
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• No history of professional disciplinary action or liability claims
• Verification of legal right to work in the U.S.
• Successful completion of health clearance, background, and drug screenings

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive patient assessments in a high-acuity pediatric emergency setting
• Demonstrate strong triage and patient care skills with minimal supervision
