Key Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Provide direct patient care to support the restoration and improvement of daily living and functional skills
• Document patient progress accurately and in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated and effective patient outcomes
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs

Required Qualifications

• Active COTA licensure in the state of Michigan
• Current NBCOT certification
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Ability to fulfill a 14-week contract commitment
• Minimum of 35 hours per week availability

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a similar clinical or rehabilitation setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and care teams
