Job Description Summary The Server Assistant (Bus Attendant) is responsible for consistently delivering results that contribute to the mission and overall success of the hotel by accomplishing performance objectives covering the food service venues of the hotel. The Bus Attendant sets up, services, and breaks down the food and beverage areas where they are assigned, ensuring a high level of quality, consistency and service. The Bus Attendant also assists the Restaurant Servers with cleanup of guest tables and restaurant area. Key Job Functions Establish service standards throughout guest experience. Ascertain guest satisfaction. Assist service staff as directed by manager. Supply assigned station with all items needed for daily operation. Serve water, coffee, juice, and other beverages and refills. Clear extra place settings at the table. Maintain customer relations at the table. Complete all closing side work properly. Perform any duties as requested by manager. Handle stress and multiple tasks (to organize service steps). Maintain good interpersonal relations with guests and co‑workers. Deliver Passionate & Engaging Service to our Guests Greet or welcome everyone warmly with a smile. Use eye and ear contact and guest’s name. Establish/anticipate needs. Solve and own all requests/complaints. Thank everyone. Build solid relationship with your colleagues. Treat colleagues with respect and dignity. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned. The employee is expected to work in other areas of the hotel when needed to assist operations to perform job duties not necessarily contained in this job description. Qualifications and Skills 1‑2 years of restaurant experience. Track record of delivering exceptional guest or client experience.
