Scheduler/Dispatcher - Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT)
Serving Northern California Communities for Over 40 Years

We are a well-established NEMT company proudly serving numerous counties in Northern California for over four decades. We are currently seeking a
Scheduler/Dispatcher to join our fast-paced team. This position plays a critical role in coordinating transportation for patients-many of whom may be elderly, disabled, or require wheelchairs or gurneys-to and from medical appointments and other engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain clear, consistent communication with drivers, clients, and medical facilities.
• Efficiently schedule and dispatch NEMT drivers and vehicles to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs.
• Utilize dispatch software (e.g., MediRoutes) to monitor trip status and respond to schedule changes or issues.
• Provide empathetic and effective customer service, especially when interacting with patients who may have special needs.
• Resolve scheduling challenges and adapt to changing conditions or emergencies.
• Accurately document operational activities in compliance with company policies.

Qualifications:

• Bilingual (Spanish/English) - Preferred
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to multitask, prioritize duties, and work independently or collaboratively
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Computer proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, GPS, and mobile applications
• Positive attitude, empathy, and professionalism when interacting with clients
• Previous dispatch or scheduling experience is a plus, but not required - we are willing to train the right candidate
