Job Description
Diversified Sourcing Solutions is seeking an experienced Safety Coordinator in Bay Minette, Alabama to support and promote a strong safety culture within an industrial environment. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, implementing safety programs, conducting audits and training, and partnering with operations to reduce workplace incidents.
Key Responsibilities
Enforce OSHA standards and company safety policies at all times
Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and job hazard analyses
Identify unsafe conditions or behaviors and implement corrective actions
Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and employee safety training
Investigate incidents, near misses, and injuries; complete reports and recommend preventive measures
Maintain safety documentation, records, and compliance logs
Coordinate with supervisors and management to improve safety performance
Assist with onboarding and orientation for new employees regarding safety procedures
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to workplace safety
Required Qualifications
OSHA 30 Certification (required)
Minimum of 3 years of industrial safety experience
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and industrial safety standards
Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, construction, or heavy industrial environments
Ability to identify hazards and implement practical solutions
Strong communication and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and take ownership of safety initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
First Aid/CPR certification
Experience conducting incident investigations and root cause analysis
Familiarity with safety management systems and reporting tools
Physical & Work Requirements
Ability to walk production floors and job sites for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs as needed
Comfortable working in industrial environments
Compensation
$27.00 per hour
One-year contract with potential for extension based on performance and business needs.
