Research Assistant Location: LR-Monrovia Duration: Up to 18 days Duty Station: Field-based across selected counties in Liberia Overview Jhpiego is an international non-profit health organization affiliated with The Johns Hopkins University, USA. For more than 40 years and in over 150 countries, Jhpiego has worked to prevent the needless deaths of women and their families. Jhpiego is dedicated to improving the health of women and families in developing countries. Purpose of the Assignment The Research Assistant will support high-quality, ethical, and gender-responsive implementation of the Gender Barrier Assessment through data collection, documentation, and preliminary analysis. Responsibilities Participate in training on gender, ethics, safeguarding, and data collection Conduct surveys, KIIs, and FGDs Ensure respectful, inclusive, and confidential data collection Upload and manage data using approved electronic platforms Contribute to daily field reports and assessment outputs Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, or related field Minimum 2 years’ experience in research or data collection Understanding of gender, equity, and human rights Proficiency with electronic data collection tools Equal Opportunity Statement Jhpiego is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer and does not discriminate in its selection and employment practices. #J-18808-Ljbffr Jhpiego
