Job Summary: Seeking a detail-oriented research assistant to help in day-to-day activities with our clinical trials and specifically for an upcoming vaccine trial. The position will support the clinical research coordinators in performing a variety of administrative and clinical tasks within our research office.
Applicant’s looking for research experience prior to advancing their education in healthcare or medical career are encouraged to apply (i.e. Pre-Med, PA-C, Nursing, etc.)
Key Responsibilities:
● Preparing source documents/questionnaires/lab kits prior to subject appointments.
● Account for and acknowledge intact receipt of Investigational Product including proper labeling and placement per study requirements.
● Keeping up-to-date spreadsheets.
● Uploading source documents into a data capturing system.
● Data entry.
● Filing paperwork/source in appropriate study binder.
● Contacting subjects via phone for televisits, reminder calls, issue resolution.
● Provide patient education and instruction.
● Processing of blood work and shipping.
● Nasal swab management and shipping.
● Maintaining organization of study supplies and reordering as needed.
●Rooming subjects. Cleaning exam rooms between appointments.
● Following GCP guidelines.
Ideal candidate:
● Ability to work independently and as a team.
● Strong computer skills.
● Excellent communication and organizational skills.
● Bachelor's of Science in a healthcare or science related field.
