Location: Gallup, New Mexico
We’re seeking experienced Registered Nurses for a travel assignment supporting a diverse K–12 school district in Gallup, NM. This role is ideal for RNs who enjoy working with children, thrive in an educational environment, and want to experience the unique culture and landscape of the Southwest.
Responsibilities
Provide daily health services to students and staff
Manage chronic conditions (asthma, diabetes, allergies, etc.)
Respond to on-campus medical emergencies
Administer medications per district policy
Maintain accurate health records and documentation
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and district health staff
Support health education and wellness initiatives
Requirements
Active RN license (any state; NM or compact preferred)
Current BLS certification
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (school nursing or pediatrics preferred)
Strong communication and assessment skills
Ability to work independently in a school-based setting
