We are seeking a reliable and professional Owner-Operator Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Driver to provide safe, dependable transportation services for wheelchair-bound patients to and from medical appointments, dialysis treatments, rehabilitation facilities, hospitals, and other healthcare-related destinations.

The ideal candidate must own and operate a fully insured , wheelchair-accessible van that meets all local and state transportation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport wheelchair patients to scheduled appointments.
• Assist passengers with boarding, securing wheelchairs, and offboarding.
• Maintain a courteous, compassionate, and professional demeanor.
• Follow assigned schedules and routes while ensuring on-time arrivals.
• Complete trip documentation and required reports.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety standards.
• Comply with all applicable transportation regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• Must own a wheelchair-accessible van in good operating condition.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Current vehicle registration and insurance.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Previous NEMT, medical transportation, paratransit, or patient transport experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to safely secure wheelchairs and mobility devices.
• Driver's license information

• Relevant transportation experience
