Job Description
Low Voltage Technician –
We are seeking a skilled Low-Voltage Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, terminating, and testing copper Cat6 data cable and fiber optic cable in large construction sites and small installations.
Experience in Security, Access Control, CCTV, and Fire Alarm Systems is a plus but not required as we will train the right candidate. The successful candidate must have transportation and be reliable. They must also pass a nationwide background check and random drug tests. Responsibilities:
· Read & understand blueprints
· Install, terminate & test data cables for wired and wireless data networks
· Install, terminate & test fiber optic cable inside buildings
· Install, terminate, splice & test fiber optic outside plant
Qualifications:
· 3+ years of experience in low-voltage systems
· Experience in any of the following
o Copper data cabling
o Fiber optic cabling
o Access control
o Security
o CCTV
o Fire alarm systems
· Ability to complete installations in a timely manner
· Detail-oriented
· Excellent communication skills
· NICET Certification a plus
· BICSI Certification a plus
