Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the planning and execution of Oracle database migrations from on-premises to cloud environments.
• Assist in configuring and managing Oracle Database migration and setup of the Oracle Exadata environments
• Work closely, daily syncs and working sessions with the offshore team to support project objectives and timelines.
• Contribute to project meetings, providing technical input and updates on migration progress.
• Implement Oracle Database Migrations steps including testing processes, focusing on migration, administration, and upgrade activities.
• Ensure data security and compliance with client-required industry standards during the migration process.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation and reports as needed.
• Assist in tracking project deliverables and timelines.
• Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold the firm's respectful and courteous work environment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum three years of recent experience in Oracle Database Administration, focusing on migrations to cloud

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Good knowledge of Oracle Exadata.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team.
• Occasional travel within the United States for on-site client workshops and meetings as needed.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Public Cloud like OCI, GCP, AWS, Azure, Oracle Zero Downtime Migration (ZDM) and Oracle GoldenGate.
