Position Overview:
The Breakfast Server ensures knowledge of the menu, responds to guests in a
timely friendly and efficient manner. Remains attentive to our guests throughout
their dining experience, always adhering to our service standards ensuring a
clean and organized dining area.
Shift details- 6:00am-11:30am
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver exceptional dining service that ensures guest satisfaction,
addressing any needs or requests with urgency and professionalism.
* Warmly greet guests upon arrival and engage with them using a positive,
approachable demeanor.
* Utilize problem-solving skills to gracefully handle guest concerns, providing
solutions that prioritize guest satisfaction.
* Provide knowledgeable responses to inquiries about the restaurant’s menu and
ongoing promotions.
* Adhere to strict service steps, food allergy protocols, and special dietary
restrictions to ensure guest safety and satisfaction.
- Demonstrate proficiency in operating POS systems.
- Follow all health and safety regulations, maintain sanitation standards, and
complete required training sessions such as alcohol awareness.
* Maintain a collaborative attitude, working cohesively with team members and
adhering to all restaurant policies outlined in the Employee Handbook.
* Perform additional duties as required to ensure the restaurant operates
smoothly.
* Conclude dining experience by acknowledging choice of restaurant and inviting
patrons to return.
* Successfully resolve any guest issues and complaints in a calm manner and
communicate all concerns to management.
* Restock service stations as needed.
Required Qualifications:
* Capability of offering a charismatic and friendly style of service tailored
to specific guests and their needs, building a rapport with guests to
establish future business.
* The ability to motivate and inspire others to work collaboratively to achieve
a designated goal.
* The ability to maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent
Hotel data.
* The ability to communicate effectively in English with guests, managers, and
colleagues.
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle the fast-paced
environment to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Learn and retain the product knowledge relative to the position on the floor.
- Knowledge of overall hotel operations as they affect department preferred.
- General understanding of POS systems and ability to use standard software
applications and hotel systems preferred.
* Ability to exercise personal discipline and extra diligence to ensure that
projects are completed in a timely manner.
Qualification Standards:
- High school or equivalent preferred.
- Two years of high-end hotel restaurant server experience preferred.
- RBS and ServSafe Food Handler Certification required.
- All colleagues must maintain a neat and well-groomed appearance (specific
standards will be provided).
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill necessary tasks.
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 30lbs. on a regular and continuing
basis.
* Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in
length.
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be
required to work varying schedules (including Holidays and weekends) to reflect
the business needs of the hotel.
Wage Rate: $20.00 per hour
