Assistant Stage Managers assist backstage, call cues, and enhance our atmosphere, entertainment offerings, and special events. We are hiring hourly Part Time (Casual Regular) and Seasonal (Casual Temporary) Assistant Stage Managers to support our ongoing and seasonal entertainment needs. Basic Qualifications You must be at least 18 years of age. Experience in a theatrical, industrial, or theme park environment as a Stage Manager, Assistant Stage Manager, or Production Assistant. Remain calm and collected under high‑pressure or complex situations. Take initiative and be a self‑driven learner. Work effectively as an individual contributor and in a collaborative team environment. Understand how to “work in the gray” and proactively adapt to make quick decisions. Operate in a safe, efficient, and organized manner. Demonstrate relationship and team‑building skills. Uphold the standards of Disney Entertainment. Have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Exhibit strong leadership and problem‑solving skills. Understand current theatrical and business technology. Show a strong focus on timeliness and time management. Be flexible with work schedule, including weekends, holidays, and overnights. Physically able to stand for long periods, move quickly up and down stairs, lift up to 25 pounds on occasion, and work in various weather conditions. Comfortable working in proximity to pyrotechnics, automated scenery, and loud noises. Preferred Education BA/BFA in Theater or related course of study. Schedule Availability Our Theme Parks operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Rehearsal and show shifts may start at any time of day or night. The availability requirements differ for Seasonal and Part Time roles: Seasonal (Casual Temporary) Fully available at least 3 days per week during holiday peak (October through early January). Available to work day, evening, and/or overnight shifts based on business need. Available to work holidays, including Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day. Part Time (Casual Regular) Fully available Friday/Saturday/Sunday and holidays year‑round. Fully available seven (7) days a week during holiday peak (November through early January).
